"Only the week-minded refuse to be influenced by the literature and poetry"- clockwork angel
GENRE: FANTASY

Clockwork angel is first book of The Infernal Devices which is the prequel to The Mortal Instruments series. The story unfolds in the year 1878, Tessa Gray who is living in New York with her aunt comes to London in search of missing brother. There she uncovers mysterious creatures and get trapped in the hands of The Dark Sisters. She then discovers that her allies are shadow hunters- demon slayers which include Will and Jem who grow found of Tessa. They investigate that there is Club called The Pandemonium club which included all the members who are warlocks, vampires, demons and humans who are part of a mission which involves creation of clockwork creatures which helps the club to rule the British Empire.

"Clockwork angel is an world of fantasy which takes you to another dimension" - Withering Soul

I really loved this book to its core. The entire book is enchanted with its strong characters and it is romantic and fierce. I cannot wait to read the next book as it leaves you hanging in the edge with its story and twists. I recommend this book to all the fans of Twilight and all the supernatural fans. The writing of the author is really attractive in its own way. People will fall in love with the shadow hunters as the character itself as a strong era which attracts everyone.
